The Difference Between Flexible Cables And Ordinary Cables

Published by Author: Joey Wan September 08,2023

Flexible cables generally refer to cables with multi-strand soft conductor structures, such as flexible cable 16mm, copper flexible cable 4 core 25mm2, electrical cable flexible, super flexible cable, etc. Among them, flexible drag chain cables are the preferred cables for power transmission materials and signal transmission carriers in drag chain motion systems. They are also called drag chain cables, mobile cables, flexible composite cables, etc.

What are the differences in perception, structure, material and function between flexible single core cable 10mm, flexible electrical cable wire 3.5mm and ordinary soft sheathed wires?
In terms of appearance, the two are almost the same; in terms of feel, they feel the same, and sometimes ordinary soft sheaths are softer than flexible cables. This is also one of the main reasons why ordinary soft sheaths are used as drag chains for highly flexible cables.

In terms of function, ordinary soft sheaths are suitable for fixed installation; high flexiblecable and flexible copper cable 4 can be used for fixed laying and movement, and highly flexible cables are more suitable for sports cables. The production process of double-tip cables adopts special technology to ensure the bending life of the cable.

The outer sheath material adopts special upgraded products. Even ordinary flexible cables used for fixed installation can be used as drag chain cables in a good environment, with a bending life of more than 5 million times.
