How to choose good wires from JZD wire and cable company

Buying wires must be choosing good wires, so in the world of wires and cables, how should we choose the best wires and cables to supply our daily electricity or the use of factory electrical connection wires?

Metrics

1. Appearance standard, the wire must have the certification mark, manufacturer, wire diameter, etc., and the ground wire must be a yellow-green insulating layer.

2. Mechanical strength.

3. The insulation of the sheath (generally greater than 100MΩ) and the compressive strength (1500V below 500V).

4. Wire resistance (a certain wire diameter, conductivity, and length are not greater than a certain resistance).

5. Under the high temperature impact of 150 degrees, the wire should not crack under the low temperature -30 degrees.

Distinguish

The national standard line superior product is 100±0.5 meters/roll

Some non-marked lines are only 60-75 meters/roll

1. To see

See if there is a quality system certification, see if the certificate is standardized; see if there is a factory name, factory address, inspection stamp, production date; see if there are trademarks, specifications, voltages, etc. printed on the wires. It also depends on the cross-section of the copper core of the wire. The superior-quality copper has a bright color and a soft color, otherwise it is a defective product.

2. Experiment

It is preferable to bend a wire end repeatedly by hand. Those with soft hand feel, good fatigue resistance, plastic or rubber feel elastic and no cracks on the wire insulator are superior products.

3. Weighing

Good quality wires are generally within the specified weight range. For example, the commonly used plastic insulated single-strand copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm2 has a weight of 1.8 to 1.9 kg per 100 m; kg; 4.0 mm2 plastic insulated single-strand copper core wire, the weight per 100 m is 4.4 ~ 4.6 kg, etc. Poor quality wire is underweight, either not long enough, or has too much impurities in the copper core of the wire.

4. Look at copper

The copper core of the qualified copper core wire should be purple, shiny and soft to the touch. The copper core of the fake and inferior copper core wire is purple-black, yellowish or white, with many impurities, poor mechanical strength and poor toughness. When checking, you only need to peel off one end of the wire by 2 cm, and then rub a piece of white paper on the copper core. If there is black material on the white paper, it means that there are more impurities in the copper core. In addition, the insulation layer of fake and inferior wires seems to be very thick, but in fact, most of them are made of recycled plastic. Over time, the insulation layer will age and leak electricity.

5. Look at the price

Due to the low production cost of counterfeit and shoddy electric wires, traders often sell them at low prices under the guise of cheap and high-quality wires, which makes people fooled.
