Carbon plans to build 5GW PV plant in France by 2025

Industrial start-up Carbon has announced plans to build a 5 gigawatt solar panel factory in France by 2025 and then triple its capacity to 15 gigawatts by the end of the decade.

The company said in a statement that it intends to raise its first round of financing by the end of this year, aiming to establish its first production site in France in 2025. It did not mention how much money it intends to raise.

The plant will rely on mature photovoltaic (PV) technologies such as TOPCon and IBC, as well as low-carbon polysilicon made in Europe.

After the photovoltaic panels are manufactured in the factory, they need to be transported to the photovoltaic power plant.  At this time, 1000v pv wire is a very critical component.
